Collection: Portable Power Stations

What Is the Best Portable Power Station?

Duracell power stations offer a range of wattage output options. They can be used for outdoor picnics, outdoor movie nights, remote work when not near a power outlet, and emergency power during outages. Lower-wattage portable power stations such as the Duracell G350 and Power 500 are lighter weight and more compact while higher wattage power stations such as the G800 and Power 1000 are heavier though offer more outlets and portable power for more appliances over longer extended periods. See the individual product pages for specific appliances and charging durations. Note that both units can power most slow cookers and CPAP machines, as well as wifi, laptops, TVs, lights, drones, and mini coolers.

What’s the difference between a portable power station and a portable power bank?

Portable power stations are larger, with higher capacity and multiple outlets, capable of powering devices like laptops, small appliances or even medical equipment. Portable power banks are smaller and typically designed to charge phones or tablets, offering limited power compared to a power station. Note that the Duracell M-Series products are more compact and lighter weight than portable power stations. Unlike most power banks, however, the M-Series products are capable of charging laptops in addition to tablets, phones, earbuds, and other small electronics, and they have other features such as an included charging dock and a tiltable lid that can wirelessly charge your phones and earbuds. The M250 and M150 also have a ring light.

How long can a portable power station run?

A portable power station can run from a few hours to several days depending on its capacity, the power draw of connected devices, and the frequency of use. Larger units with higher watt-hours (Wh) can run small appliances for extended periods, while smaller units last a few hours.

Can you recharge a portable power station with solar power?

Yes, Duracell G-Series Portable Power Stations can be recharged with solar power using the compatible 100-watt G-Solar Panel, a lightweight, foldable portable solar panel. Our power stations support solar input, and the charging time depends on the sunlight conditions and the station's battery capacity.
